These kinds of things are certainly good for restoring my faith in people! Love it. What happened while you were in the Burren? (I should probably just go look for a post about it, haha). We were just out that way last May with my inlaws =-)

I’m honestly never shocked at the kindness of strangers around the world – it gives me faith and hope in a better world. I’m super paranoid when driving abroad and always treat my half tank as empty, just in case (lol), maybe a good tip for you later on! It also keeps the costs down, I swear. In my most recent rental from half tank to full was 20 euro but I let it go all the way down before getting to return it and it was 65 euro from 1/8 to full. Even if its a mind game, it works LOL.

I’m glad it all worked out in the end, and even though things like this are extremely stressful while they’re happening, they really do make the best stories later. 🙂 The kindness of strangers always astounds me. We experienced this level of kindness while we were road-tripping through the Burren in Ireland. It really made me want to be able to repay the favor for someone else someday!
